Restock alerts, an Almanac entry and a one-tap check-in
Stack Almanac now sends restock alerts, writes a daily Almanac entry after your first log, marks days on record, and takes a one-tap check-in on Today.
By Stack Almanac
Stack Almanac now sends a push when a supplement is running low or has run out, writes one line about your own supplements on Today after your first log of the day, marks the days your record has reached, and takes a daily check-in with one tap. Reminders can be turned on in your first session, each supplement's screen carries reviewed notes on its ingredients, and Pro is £9.99 a month or £99 a year with tax included.
When do restock alerts arrive?
Once a day at most, at 9 in the morning your local time, and only for a supplement that is running low or has run out. Restock alerts are part of Pro, and until this release none had been sent. That is fixed: they now arrive.
The push says the same figure the restock card shows, for example Magnesium has about 4 days left, or that a supplement has run out. When more than one needs attention, the most urgent goes first and the rest wait for another day. A supplement that has been alerted holds for a week, unless it runs out inside that week, which earns a second push. A restock alert never takes the place of a dose reminder.
To turn them off for a supplement, open it and switch off Remind me when running low under Tracking.
What is the Almanac entry on Today?
One line about your own supplements, shown after your first log of the day. It might be the record sentence for one supplement, the same one Progress shows. It might be a reviewed line about an ingredient you take, how many days your record holds, or, on the day you reach one, a milestone.
Every entry is about your record or the ingredients in it, never a general quote. Tap a record line and Progress opens. Tap an ingredient line and that supplement opens, with the full guide. A line that has been shown stays out of rotation for a fortnight.
What counts as a day on record?
A day that holds at least one log, whether a dose was taken or skipped. The count only goes up. A missed day changes nothing already earned, which is what separates it from a streak.
Milestones sit at 7, 14, 30 and 90 days, and each says what that much record can do. At 7, the week review has a full week of your own days to read. At 14, a comparison can reach its steadiest tier. At 30, the 30-day window Progress reads is full for the first time. At 90, the record covers a full quarter. Today shows a milestone on the day you reach it, and Progress keeps a line with your count and what the next marker is for.
How does the one-tap check-in work?
Under the checklist on Today, once you have logged something, a card asks: How do you feel overall today? One tap saves it and adds the day to the record. Add detail opens the full check-in with all six signals and your notes, so a mis-tap is corrected there.
The last dose reminder of the day asks as well, when today has no check-in yet: And how was today? Tap it and the check-in opens.
What is in About the ingredients?
Reviewed notes on each ingredient in a supplement, and the comparison guides that mention it, in the supplement's own screen. The notes are the same reviewed copy as the public ingredient pages, and the guides are the ones at stackalmanac.com/comparisons.
What does Pro cost now?
£9.99 a month or £99 a year, with tax included in both. Choose the billing period in Account before checkout; the allowances are on the pricing page.
