Check a supplement label before you buy

Stack Almanac now helps with a supplement before it reaches your basket. Photograph the label and the app reviews the information it can see against the routine and health background you have chosen to record. This release also adds an annual Pro option alongside monthly billing.

What does a pre-purchase scan review?

A pre-purchase scan looks at the doses shown on the label, how the product fits your current routine, interaction and allergen flags, and the cost per serving. It then gives you a bounded verdict with the reasons behind it, so you can decide whether the product deserves a closer look before buying.

The result is deliberately conditional when something important is missing. An unreadable part of the label, a missing price, or incomplete medication, allergy or pregnancy information stays visible as uncertainty. The scan does not turn partial information into a confident answer, and it does not replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

How do you scan a supplement before buying it?

Open the scan option in Stack Almanac and take a clear photograph of the supplement facts and other visible label details. Include the price when you want a cost-per-serving check. Review the label text the app read, then read the verdict and its caveats before deciding what to do next.

Can you pay for Pro annually?

Yes. Account now offers Pro at £7.99 a month or £79 a year. The annual option is paid once for the year and costs less than twelve monthly payments. Choose the billing period in Account before opening checkout.
