The rules, in plain words
All of it is in the terms as well. None of it should be a surprise when you read them.
- Commission starts when they pay, not when they sign up
- Every account gets a free Pro trial with no card, so a signup on its own is not a sale. Commission accrues on a referred customer's first successful payment, then for 12 months of their subscription.
- Payouts clear after 30 days
- Commission is held for 30 days to cover refunds, then paid out. A refund or chargeback reverses the commission on that customer.
- Your code is credited for 90 days
- We record the first creator who sends someone to us and keep it for 90 days. If they sign up in that window, it is your referral — even if they arrive back through a search result.
- Label your posts as ads
- UK rules require it whenever you earn from a link or code. Use #ad — the ASA does not accept #aff or #spon on their own. This protects you as much as us.
- No health claims
- Stack Almanac helps people organise and understand their supplements. It does not diagnose, treat or cure anything, and posts must not say it does. We give you approved copy so the compliant version is also the easy one.
- Refer people, not yourself
- Your own accounts, and paid ads bidding on our brand terms, do not earn commission. Coupon and deal-aggregator sites are not eligible.

Questions
- How much can I actually earn?
- You earn 25% of what each person you refer pays us, for 12 months of their subscription. Partners earn 30%. It compounds: every referral who stays keeps paying out while your next ones land.
- Do I need a big following?
- No. The Creator tier is open to anyone. A small audience that trusts you converts better than a large one that scrolls past, and we would rather work with people who genuinely use the app.
- What if someone clicks my link but signs up later?
- Still yours, for 90 days. We record the first creator who sent them, so if they come back through a search result or type the address directly, the referral is still credited to you.
- What happens if someone cancels or gets a refund?
- Commission on a refunded payment is reversed — that is what the 30-day hold covers. If someone simply cancels later, you keep everything already earned.
- Can I talk about my own results with supplements?
- You can talk about your own experience. What you cannot do is say Stack Almanac diagnoses, treats or cures anything, because it does not and UK rules are strict about it. We will send you copy you can post as-is if you would rather not think about it.
- Do I have to label posts as ads?
- Yes, whenever you earn from a link or code. Use #ad — the ASA does not accept #aff or #spon on their own. It protects you more than it protects us.
- What if someone I refer pays yearly?
- Better for you. You earn the same share of whatever they pay, so an annual subscriber pays out in one larger amount when their payment clears rather than in monthly instalments across the year. They get 2 months free for paying up front, and that discount comes out of our side, not your commission.
