What you can say about Stack Almanac

Read this before your first post. The programme page carries the terms. This is how to follow them without thinking about them.

The short version

  1. Put #ad at the start, where people see it before they click.
  2. Never say a supplement, or our app, does something to a body. No conditions, no symptoms, no medicines, no promises.
  3. Say what you actually use it for. Your routine, your spending, your questions. That is the post people respond to anyway.

You are advertising a UK supplement tracker, so UK advertising rules apply to your post as much as to ours. Unsure about a line? Send it over before you post. We answer the same day.

Stack Almanac, in one line

Stack Almanac is a supplement tracker and advisor. It keeps everything you take in one place, with the timing, overlaps and cost, and builds a record of what changed while you took each supplement.

Use that, or your own version of it, as long as it does not promise a result.

Lines you can copy

What it does on day one

  • Paste your list or photograph the bottles, and everything you take is in one place.
  • It shows where two products contain the same thing, and the combined total against UK reference values.
  • Each supplement gets a time of day with the reason for it. You can move anything.
  • It adds up what your supplements cost you a month.
  • You can ask it anything about your supplements, and the answer shows its sources.

What it does over time

  • You check in on sleep, energy and focus in a few taps.
  • Once you have at least 3 days on a supplement and 3 days off it, each with a check-in, your record puts the two side by side.
  • It shows the difference. It can't prove the cause.

Your own use, which is the strongest thing you can say

  • I take 9 things and I had no idea two of them contained the same mineral.
  • I found out what my shelf costs me a month, and it was more than I thought.
  • I take it to my GP appointment as a PDF instead of trying to remember.

The money

There is a free plan, and every account starts with 7 days of Pro with no card, so nothing is charged if someone stops there. Never type the price from memory: check the pricing page on the day you post.

Lines that will get your post pulled

Health claims

Not: "Magnesium for sleep", "ashwagandha for stress", "this fixed my brain fog", "finally sleeping through".

In the UK only wording on an official register may be used, and almost none of the popular pairings are on it. Magnesium has no authorised sleep claim at all.

Conditions and medicines

Not: "Good for ADHD", "helps with anxiety", "I came off my antidepressants", "it checks my meds for me", "what to take instead of medication".

These are the rules regulators enforce hardest, and the last one is dangerous as well as against the rules.

Verdict language about the app

Not: "It tells you what works for your body", "it knows what you need", "it flags interactions with your medication", "it checks your doses are safe".

We are a record and a reference, not a clinician. Claiming we check a person's own medicines or doses would make us a regulated medical device. Say "it keeps the record", "it shows the total", "it tells you when a question is one for your pharmacist".

Features we do not have

Not: Trials with verdicts, Whoop, SMS reminders, applying a whole plan in one tap, a practitioner dashboard.

If you saw it in an older post of ours, check with us before you repeat it.

Numbers you cannot source

Not: "Most people are deficient", "sleep improved by a third", invented user counts.

If you quote a figure, link where it came from.

Before and after health stories

Not: Yours or anyone else's.

A testimonial is our claim in law, so we cannot run yours even if every word of it is true.

Labelling, properly

  • #ad goes first, in the caption, on screen in a video, and spoken if it is audio. Not after a line break, not fifteen hashtags down.
  • It applies to every post, story, reel, short, newsletter and video description carrying your link or code.
  • #aff, #spon, “thanks to our friends at” and “affiliate” are not enough on their own in the UK.
  • If a post stays up after the campaign, the label stays with it.

Screenshots

  • Use your own account, or the sample data in a fresh one.
  • Invent nothing. A screenshot showing a result the app cannot produce is a claim.
  • No colour-graded health scores in a thumbnail. Numbers and dates are fine.

If something is wrong

We will ask you to edit or remove the post, and tell you exactly which line and why. It does not affect commission you have already earned. Repeated breaches end the arrangement, because the rules fall on us as the advertiser.

Ask us first

Send a draft caption, a script or a screenshot to hello@stackalmanac.com with “creator” in the subject. Same-day answer on a weekday. We would rather read 20 drafts than take down one post.
