Clearer names, cleaner supplement data

Stack Almanac now uses one consistent name for each idea: your stack, stack templates, and protocols, plus a clean-up that makes dose totals more accurate.

The latest update to Stack Almanac is about clarity. The app now uses one consistent name for each idea, so building and browsing your stack is easier to follow. Underneath, a clean-up of the supplement database makes dose totals, browsing, and search more accurate.

What changed with the names in Stack Almanac?

Stack Almanac now uses one word for one idea. Three terms used to overlap; now each means exactly one thing:

Your stack is the set of supplements you personally take and track.

Stack templates are ready-made stacks you can adopt as a starting point, then adjust to fit you.

Protocols are step-by-step plans you follow, like a trial or a set of timed changes.

Before, the word protocol was doing all three jobs. Now the labels on screen match what each part of the app actually does, so there is less to second-guess as you move around.

What happened to the curated templates?

The ready-made stacks you can browse and adopt are now called stack templates, and the old Protocol label is gone from their names and supporting copy. Same templates, simpler naming.

What else is new?

Weekly check-ins save reliably. Your weekly check-in now saves before the prompt closes, so nothing gets dropped even on a slow connection.

A cleaner supplement database. We went through the supplement database and fixed duplicate ingredient entries and miscategorised products. The result is more accurate dose totals and more reliable browsing and search when you add supplements to your stack.

Did my supplements or settings change?

No. Your stack, your logs, and your settings are exactly as you left them. This update changes the words the app uses and improves the accuracy of the data behind the scenes. Nothing you set up needs redoing.
