Share your supplement routine with your doctor
Generate a patient-friendly PDF of your supplements for your healthcare provider. Plus daily vs occasional tracking and long-press to skip.
Stack Almanac now lets Pro users generate a PDF of their supplement routine to share with a healthcare provider. This update also adds per-supplement tracking modes and a quick way to skip a supplement for the day.
Share your supplement routine with your doctor
The new Doctor Export section in Account settings generates a patient-friendly PDF of your entire supplement routine. It groups your supplements by when you take them (morning, afternoon, evening), includes your bio profile summary, and shows how much of each nutrient you get compared to recommended daily amounts.
Three options to get it out: download as PDF, download as a plain text Markdown file, or email it directly to yourself so you can forward it to your provider. The PDF is generated entirely on your device, so nothing extra leaves the app.
Doctor Export is available to Pro subscribers. Free users can see the section but need to upgrade to generate the document.
Daily habits vs occasional supplements
Not every supplement is something you take every single day. Melatonin might be occasional. Vitamin D is daily. Stack Almanac now knows the difference.
Each supplement has a new toggle in its detail drawer: "I take this every day". When it is on (the default), the supplement works like before. Stack Almanac auto-logs it as taken on days you do not check in, and missing days count against your consistency score.
Turn it off and the supplement becomes occasional. It is only counted on days you explicitly confirm it. Days you skip do not affect your score. This means your consistency percentage finally reflects how you actually take things, rather than penalising you for supplements you only use when you need them.
Long-press to skip
Sometimes you intentionally skip a supplement for the day. Hold down on any supplement circle in Today's view for about half a second to mark it as skipped. A grey X appears so you can see at a glance what you chose to skip versus what you forgot. Hold again to undo.
A small tip banner explains the gesture the first time you see your supplements. It dismisses after one tap.
What is next
The daily vs occasional distinction feeds into smarter consistency scoring and more accurate advisor recommendations. If the Almanac Advisor knows you only take magnesium on gym days, it can tailor its guidance to match your actual routine rather than assuming you take everything daily.
